Summary: Christmas in Australia is not Jensen's ideal.
NOTES: Sappy, perhaps, but it made me happy. For 12 Gays of Christmas 2010

"Man, we are always someplace hot at Christmas!"

Cougar looked over as Jensen wiped sweat off his face before putting his Santa hat back on. Jensen was right. It seemed like every year since they'd joined Clay, there was sand instead of snow.

"I thought for sure we could hit snow this year. I mean c'mon!" Jensen stood and gestured at the Australian beach the Losers were lounging on. "We're not on the clock any more! Fugitives should get to choose snow."

"We took a big chance in New Hampshire, Jensen, you know that," Clay said. "Just try to enjoy your holiday."

"Can't even make a proper snowman," Jensen grumbled before grabbing another beer.

Cougar grinned and pulled his hat down low over his eyes.

The beach house they were staying in was big and happily on loan from a Malaysian arms dealer they'd done a good turn to years ago. It had everything a group of vacationers could want: great ocean view, a ripe spot for surfing, a hot tub, fully loaded kitchen and a fully stocked gun safe. Once he had it decorated with Santas, lights and candy canes, Jensen had declared it perfect.

Except, of course, for the lack of snow.

He'd tried fake snow, but it was "too stinky". He tried shaving ice, but that had been "too melty and hard". Cougar did all he could to keep Jensen distracted with blowjobs, handjobs and good, solid fucking, but at least once a day, Jensen would sulk.

"What am I supposed to make? Sand angels?"

Cougar knew the snow was just the focal point of not being home but, once Jensen was asleep on Christmas Eve, he slipped out of bed and stole off into the night. He would fix this as best he could. He had to before Aisha or Clay killed Jensen.

"Mmm..." Jensen stirred and looked at the clock. 10 a.m. "Cougs! It's Christmas! Wake... up? Hey..."

Jensen sat up in bed and pouted. Cougar wasn't in his spot. Grumbling, Jensen got out of bed and checked the bathroom. No Cougar. Fussing fully, he pulled on a pair of short and his Santa hat and went in search of his errant boyfriend.

"Anyone seen Cougs?" He asked, stomping into the kitchen.

Everyone was at the breakfast table except Cougar.

"Merry Christmas to you too," Pooch said. "I haven't seen him all morning."

Jensen stole Pooch's orange juice and wandered to the front door, ignoring Pooch's protests and Clay's laughter. Peering outside, he saw their jeep still parked in the driveway.

"Dammit. Where the hell is he?!"

Aisha caught up to him and took the glass from his hand. "Stop being a sour puss and go check the beach." She spun him around and gave him a shove towards the back porch.

Jensen grumbled his way out the sliding glass doors. "Cougs!"

"Down here."

"There you are," Jensen walked to the edge of the porch and looked over the railing. 'You weren't in bed and I hate waking up without you there and holy god!"

Cougar looked up at him from the beach a smile on his face. There was a small family of sand sculpted snowmen, an igloo and two sand angels. Jensen walked down the stair slowly, eyes wide.

"Did you do this?"

Cougar nodded.

"For me?"

Cougar grinned and nodded. "Si, it's not snow but ..."

Jensen nearly tackled him with a hug. "You got all covered in sand for me!"

Cougar nodded and hugged Jensen tight. "Merry Christmas, mijo."

"Dude, you are so getting laid. After you shower."

Cougar laughed. "I better."

"You will, I promise," Jensen beamed at him. 'C'mon, let's open presents and then I can ride you like a pony."

"I really did not need to hear that."

Jensen looked up at Pooch standing at the railing. "You lied to me. You saw him."

"Sue me," Pooch said. "Just stop talking about sex."

Jensen squirmed out of Cougar's grasp and ran up the stairs. "Aw, c'mon, Pooch! Let me prove my love to you."

Pooch backed away as Jensen came at him, arms open, mouth spewing all the foul things he was going to do to Pooch. Cougar followed slowly, grinning. It was going to be a great Christmas.
